Vinyl flooring and LVT in Wakefield
For kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and downstairs toilets, vinyl is hard to beat. We'll bring sheet vinyl and LVT samples so you can see them next to your units and tiles.
Sheet vinyl or luxury vinyl tiles?
Sheet vinyl
Laid in one or two pieces with very few seams, in a wide choice of colours and patterns. Practical and good value for kitchens and bathrooms.
Luxury vinyl tiles (LVT)
Rigid planks and tiles with a convincing wood, stone or tile finish. Lay them in any pattern, and replace a single tile almost invisibly if one is damaged.
Made for splashes and spills
Vinyl is water-friendly and easy to mop, so it's the natural choice wherever water gets on the floor. Most LVT is waterproof and comes with a built-in scratch and stain guard, and it won't dent or scratch as easily as real wood.
Vinyl does need a smooth base, because any lumps underneath will show through. If your kitchen floor needs it, we can screed or ply-board it first.

Vinyl and LVT questions
How does LVT differ from sheet vinyl?
Sheet vinyl comes off a roll and goes down in one or two pieces with minimal seams. LVT is supplied as separate planks or tiles that look like wood, stone or ceramic and can be laid in patterns. A damaged LVT tile can be swapped out; with sheet vinyl the repair means cutting in a patch or replacing the floor.
Will LVT stand up to family life?
Yes, it's very hardwearing. Most LVT is waterproof with a built-in scratch and stain guard, and it doesn't dent or scratch as easily as wood.
Can vinyl be part of a full house deal?
Yes. Our Silver (£1,299), Gold (£1,499) and Platinum (£1,899) packages include carpets and vinyls, so you can do the kitchen and bathroom in vinyl and carpet the rest.
